Cookie Policy

Last updated 8 October 2026

Workforce Hub uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in safely. It does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you from one page to the next.

The cookies we set

These are strictly necessary: the site cannot keep you signed in without them, so they are set without asking for consent.

  • Session cookie (named like better-auth.session_token): proves you are signed in. It is removed when your session ends or you log out, and in any case expires after a limited time. It is marked secure, so it is only sent over an encrypted connection, and it cannot be read by scripts on the page.
  • Short-lived sign-in cookies: set briefly while a Microsoft sign-in or a security check is in progress, then removed.

What we do not use

  • No advertising or marketing cookies.
  • No analytics or tracking tools, and nothing that follows you to other sites.
  • No browser storage to track your behaviour. Your light or dark display follows your device setting.

Microsoft's cookies

When you choose Sign in with Microsoft, you go to a Microsoft page, which sets its own cookies under Microsoft's cookie policy. We do not control those.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to stay signed in to Workforce Hub.
